Our Team

Michelle Hill Lpc, ncc

Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a National Certified Counselor. She earned a master's degree in clinical counseling from Regent University and has a certification in trauma. She is a certified supervisor for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the Commonwealth of Virgina She has extensive experience working with children and families as they face life’s toughest issues.

 Michelle utilizes a person centered approach. She tailors her treatment plans and techniques to each respective client based on their needs. Michelle draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT). 

She has supported individuals working through ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, sexuality, self-esteem, trauma, suicide, marriage, divorce, co-parenting, and family reunification.

Change is inevitable, but that doesn't mean there aren't ways to help cope with it! While working with clients in therapy, my goal is to help my clients develop a “toolbox” to navigate life’s difficult situations. While working with clients, I strive to make them feel comfortable expressing their authentic thoughts and feelings in a judgment-free atmosphere.

As a clinician, I specialize in person-centered and person-in-environment approaches. Treatment Modalities I utilize include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and a Strengths-Based Perspective.

Therapy can be a challenging process to start. As a therapist, I aim to help facilitate a space where you can safely grow, learn, and embrace life’s tricky circumstances. I am a easy to talk to an approachable therapist who will not engage you in traditional therapy where you feel ashamed of who you really are.

Gwenda is the warm welcome to individuals interested in services. She assist with scheduling and answering questions about insurance and billing.
